How To Unlock Your IPhone With Your Apple Watch
If you’ve ever forgotten your iPhone’s passcode, you know how frustrating it can be. Fortunately, if you have an Apple Watch, you can use it to unlock your iPhone and get back to using your apps and features. Here’s how:
1. Make sure your Apple Watch is on your wrist, and that your iPhone is nearby.
2. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
3. Tap the My Watch tab.
4. Scroll down and tap Passcode.
5. Turn off Unlock with iPhone.
Now, when you try to unlock your iPhone, it will prompt you to enter your passcode on your Apple Watch. If you don’t have your Watch with you, or it’s not working, you can still enter your passcode on your iPhone to unlock it.
If you have an iPhone 6s or later, you can also use Touch ID to unlock your iPhone. Just place your finger on the Touch ID sensor and hold it there until your iPhone unlocks. You can also use Touch ID to make purchases in apps and on websites.
If you have an iPhone SE, iPhone 5s, or earlier, you can use Siri to unlock your iPhone. Just say, “Siri, unlock my iPhone.” You’ll be prompted to enter your passcode, which you can do on the Siri interface or on your iPhone’s keypad. Once you enter your passcode, Siri will unlock your iPhone.
You can also use Siri to make purchases in apps and on websites. Just say, “Siri, buy this,” and Siri will ask you to confirm your purchase with Touch ID or your passcode.
If you have an iPhone X or later, you can use Face ID to unlock your iPhone. Just look at your iPhone and hold it up to your face until it unlocks. You can also use Face ID to make purchases in apps and on websites.
No matter which method you use to unlock your iPhone, you can always change your passcode in the Settings app. Just open the Settings app and tap Touch ID & Passcode or Face ID & Passcode. Then enter your current passcode and tap Change Passcode.
